US Unlocked HTC 10 has started receiving an OTA update dubbed as the build version 1.91.617.1. The update is said carrying the July and August security patches, address in the changelog details. Noting that the device did not get the July security patches. It is much likely have the same features released in Europe’s unbranded HTC 10 last week, but this one is a newer build intended for US HTC 10 users only. It might also have several bug-fixes, battery life improvements, and system stability enhancements included in it that wasn’t disclosed in the released notes.

The update has been pushed via Over-The Air OTA, and it only weighs at around 400 MB in size. While those who prepared the stock RUU 1.91.617.1 itself that weighs at 1.7 GB in size, you folks can download it at HTCs support page.
Again, this update is released for United States HTC 10 unlocked version only. This will updates the US unlocked HTC 10 from build version 1.80.617.1 to version 1.91.617.1.

From the Home screen tap All apps , tap Settings .
Tap About .
Tap Software updates .
Tap Check now .
Tap DOWNLOAD to download the update.
The status of the download can be checked in the Notifications pull down.
Once the download is complete, the user will be prompted to install from the Notifications pull down. Tap the System update to begin the upgrade process.
Tap OK to begin the update process to software version 1.91.617.1.
